CONSTRUCTION OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND TREATED WATER DISCHARGE PROJECT

Having a capacity of 23.252 m3/day and consisting of Physical Pre-treatment, Biological Treatment, Anaerobic Sludge Digestion, Sludge Dewatering and Co-generation units, the Wastewater Treatment Plant contract signed on 28.07.2009. Using the biogas produced in anaerobic sludge digestion, the co-generation unit will generate electrical power and heat energy to be used in the treatment plant. To clean the air collected from possible odour sources, a biolojical odour removal unit will be constructed. Some amount of the treated water will be disinfected and be used in irrigation of green areas by Muğla Municipality so the wastewater will be recycled.

Within the scope of the project, a 1.400 m long pumping line to pump wastewater from Düğerek Pump Station to Wastewater Treatment Plant, a 5.500 m long treated water discharge pumping line to pump the treated water to discharge point, a 2.350 m long treated water discharge pumping line to pump disinfected treated water to Irrigation Water Storage Tank and pumping stations will be constructed.
